Gorgeous Mansion turned museum in the heart of historic Savannah with captivating art.
This museum is small compared to more well known ones but does offer some interesting items. The displays seem small within the huge rooms. There are a few pieces of art that are very large. For my taste, some of the military themed pieces rival any I've seen. It is a contrast with the local artisans work showing southern culture next to the Telfair collection of Roman re-creations. Still, a worthwhile place to visit while in Savannah.
I was expecting to be wowed with first public museum. So underwhelming, skip this place
