I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Levit today. His office/staff were courteous and very professional. He came in and examined my shoulder and explained everything in detail. He took time and answered my questions. I never felt rushed and he was very kind. I would highly recommend him. I have also sent my parents and mother in law to see him for different things and he has always treated them very well and helped them with whatever issues they were having.
The least compassionate doctor I have ever had the misfortune I dealing with. Told doctor I was in excruciating pain. He said the steroids should help "in a couple of days". When I said how can I be excepted to deal with this pain for those days he just repeated himself. When the pain came back after the short steroid cycle he gave me I called their office at 9am and left a message. Called at 12pm and they said he would be done with his rounds in about an hour. Waited and called at 3pm and was told they wouldn't give me more steroids or any pain medication even though it was Friday and that Dr Levitt would be gone all next week. I finally get Dr Levitt on the phone and he berates me and my mother saying if the pain is so bad I need further evaluation ignoring the fact that I was telling him exactly what I said on the initial visit and the fact that "further" evaluation" would be about 10 day later. The office staff also lied to me with one saying that the appointment scheduling was in another building but on a later call the next person admitted that wasn't true. Dr Levitt then tried to tell my mom I was told he was in surgery which is another blatant lie.
