That said, I should've believed the low rate reviews I read but, because they were about the front desk girls and not the doctor, I disregarded them. Big mistake.
I lucked out with such a down to earth Doctor! I am very happy with him and his staff!!!
I pay out of pocket for my health care so, I'm very careful about saying what I need and asking about cost and what should I expect at the time of my visit, when I call any doctor's office. This time wasn't any different. It was a first time visit, and I was told that since they will spend more time with me, they have few spot for it, and got an appointment 4 weeks later. They were suppose to send me some paper work, for me to fill out, and a week before I had to call to ask for it. I get there they get the paperwork, get my money and after 5 min I get in to check my blood pressure and answer all the same questions they had in the paperwork. Then back outside, and after 10 min in again to see the PA, (since apparently you never see the doctor) who proceeds to ask me the same questions again, and worrying about the fact I didn't have insurance, and telling me about other places to go. At the end, she tells me she does not have time to do my PAP, and how limited are the Lab work options they have, and how I had to pay extra for it, and telling me about getting insurance, and all the city's free programs. The choice of not having insurance is mine, never told her I couldn't pay, or ask for advise. She was a nice lady but, I feel that the amount of money I pay, was a lost. I could've paid much less at the minute clinic, wait less, and don't feel that I was screwed. So, in conclusion make sure you are very clear when you call, because the girls that answer the phone apparently do not listen, or care. The two stars are because the office is very clean and pleasant and the PA is nice.
Also very easy to talk to, he listens and takes care of my medial needs.
He is an amazing doctor, and I trust him and i don't trust many people.
To put it simply, he's a great guy!!!! Not your typically arrogant Dr. So refreshingly nice! Cannot believe
This office is the best! The staff is friendly, polite, and helpful. Dr. Docu could not be more attentive. He takes the time to listen and makes sure you understand everything he is telling you. You don't feel rushed like so many other Dr's offices. Simply put, he is excellent. I highly recommend him!!!!!Plus he's funny and you can tell him anything.
Dr. Docu's office is professionally staffed and are ready to help you with a friendly smile. His experience and expertise is great and he is definitely one of the best doctors I have visited in Savannah. His diagnosis and treatments are unmatched. He is able to pinpoint the right medicines to help manage your ailment. I am undoubtedly committed to believe that their excellent service, and ability in providing quality health care to the patients that come into their facility are unmatched.
I gave 1 star because the pa judith woods made me feel as if i was a person not just a file folder.I was an excellent patient, going every month for my appointments, doing all lab work on time and always using the same pharmacy. After several years of being given several narcotic drugs every month that are very addictive,I was discharged in a form letter with no last refill untill I could find another doctor.I suffer with rheumotoid disease fibromyalgia, reiters syndrome and an anxiety disorder and COPD and ADD,you can imagine the drugs I was prescribed.Could not get another doctor to see me as I am a new patient for almost a month, and ran out of medications. My daughter called spoke wit office manager,no calls were returned, she called back to see if I could at least get my non narcotic pain medication refilled just long enough untill I see my new doctor, she was told for me to go to the ER.I know of three other people this has happened to,trying to find others.I went to the ER and was given pain medication and the doctor there said that in my condition, this was one of the most unprofessional doctors in savannah as I am not the first person he has treated for this very reason. The doctor there said that I was very lucky I got there in the early stages of withdrawls as I very easily could have gone into seizures.I am fine now,I want all of you to be also,DO NOT go to this doctor please!
I'm writing this review because, I really believe it helps to gather information from other people's experiences in order to make a good desition, and the more detailed and real reviews are, the better.
