He's a smart and concerned doctor but his staff is the opposite, big attitudes and laughed when I complained about the hour long wait. I've discussed how I was treated with Dr. Murphy and I hope for his sake that they will be replaced soon.
Was supposed to have a referral to a surgeon in February to talk about fixing my hiatal hernia. As of last month I had heard nothing so I called only to be told it hadn't been put in....they apologized and said they'd put it in right then. Fast forward a month and I just called again to be told "I don't see anything about a referral". I'm sick of this office, if not just for the fact that they charge you a $20 copay every time you walk in the door before you can see a doctor. Then maybe for the fact that I have never stepped foot in this office and not waited a minimum of an hour once called back to even see the doctor. Not putting the referral through only slows down the process of finally seeing a "Real Doctor". Would be clients do yourself a favor and ask your doctor for a referral to someone who can actually do their job, this establishment is a waste of time and money!!!!
I have been a patient of dr. Mark Murphy for 15 years and have never been disappointed. With any treatment I've received. 3 colonoscopies 2 upper gi procedures .dr.Murphy and his team of other doctors and nurses are at the epitome of their practice, therefore they are extremely busy at just about all times.with this said my family and i have received 5 star care at this facility......
Love Dr Murphy, Hate the office policies. I have two insurances but have to pay a co pay the day of the visit. Other Dr. offices take my insurances and file both the second insurance always pays the co-pay. They won't even discuss it. You don't see the Dr. unless you pay. I paid and they assured me the second ins. would be filed so I could get my co-pay back. Guess what? I got EOB from primary insurance but crickets from the secondary. They didn't file it. I called back and they assured me it would be filed. More later ..... we will see. Not very nice person to talk to either.
