Wish I could give no stars. I had to bring in my dog because she had something caught in her throat. She was still breathing okay but constantly hacking and coughing. Lady at the front desk was extremely rude and bitter. My dog is a rescue that was previously abused and does not trust strangers. I told the woman at the front desk this as she tried to approach her and I told her the issue and that she may have to be sedated which she replied "oh fun" in a condescending tone. So we wait an hour with no doctor to check on us. Finally the same rude receptionist came in and told us it will be $600-1000 just to diagnose her and we still hadn't seen any doctor yet. Needless to say we left and went to the 24 hour vet on Bryan street. They were wonderful and these people need to take notes from them!!!

Wish we had known about the chiropractor sooner. Never wouldve done the surgery. Never wouldve taken him there in the first place.

I will never ever bring any of our pets to this location or recommend them to anyone. Never.

Our pup became ill while on vacation. Having had a bad experience with another vet at the beach a few years ago (walked out with a $400 bill after 10 minutes - my dog was way over treated), we were anxious about a new vet. Savannah Vet Clinic staff and vet couldn't have been kinder, or more reassuring and thorough. Dr. Martin was clear about different options for treatment and their costs, and conservative in her recommendation. We felt much better after our visit and confident our beloved pup would be fine. Happy to recommend.

We miraculously found a dog chiropractor in the area. We refused to do any other surgery due to his age and that it would be this office he'd have to go back to.

Scared and upset, we agreed to the surgery. He was there for a couple weeks fulltime then off/on for therapy/checks. No other vet In area had the equipment this office did for the water rehab. Our dog was literally having to learn to walk again. We visited daily when he was there. They tried to send him home prematurely--he was in horrific pain and had to go back. After I got off work, would go see him and found he was soaking wet more than once. Thought his water rehab had just taken place. Nope. He was left soaking wet "allegedly they had dried him off "....from his therapy an hour (or more) before. To which I had words with the office. I had them give me towels so I could dry my dog off every time. Couldn't even trust them to do that. During his stay, his heartworm prevention was due. Hand delivered it to the office personnel with specific instructions, on day it was due. Three weeks later, his items were returned to us. Heartworm pill in hand and , yes, my dog had been outside on walks. Mosquitos were out. Again, had words. Confronted the staff and wrote letter to head vet. Told them i was holding them fully responsible-- that they take care of any bills that arise (heartworm test....which we had To wait SIX MONTHS to see if he had contracted hw's and treatment if needed). I heard the vet had a huge meeting with the staff after but unknown if the person I talked to about his pill and handed it to ever got punished. They did the test free of charge months later but I didn't trust the results. My vet checked him also. Negative.

My dog was rushed here due to back injury a few years ago. Was basically given two options in the middle of the night : do the tests/surgery that'll cost ALOT or we would discuss euthanasia.

If you care at all about your pet, or human interaction with compassionate and ethical vet workers, NEVER go to this place. My 4 year old, 13 pound terrier was attacked by a pit bull and they actively lied that the doctor had already examined him and wanted to keep him for possible 'x-rays' which I explained were not necessary and could wait until my vet opened the next day. The vet tech refused to bring me my dog until 'I filled out the form' .. I got enraged that my dog was being held hostage in order to find ways to charge me. None of the staff were understanding, terrible bedside manner and the doctor never materialized, because s/he wasn't there. Went to Savannah Animal Care in desperation and had the complete opposite experience with caring, compassionate and affordable care. If there is a Vet Med Board in Georgia they should immediately audit and inspect this place. These people should be ashamed to call themselves caregivers.

Due to negligent care (tearing my cat's urethra) while placing a catheter, my cat required costly care at another vet to fix the damage. This clinic refuses to help cover those medical bills as a result of their mistake, which is totally unreasonable and overall not a good thing to do. I was told by their office manage to take it to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine myself because they would not help me. For $1,400 (for less than a day), they managed to botch his procedure leading to my cat needing 14 more days of care and a little over $2,000 of MORE bills. Very unhappy with the treatment given by this clinic. I understand accidents happen, but they refuse to make it right and just do the right thing. Very disappointing. Everyone I talked to in the clinic was nice except the office manager.

Same injury, one disk in between the two that were worked on. Strictly getting adjusted off/on for past two years and the results are phenomenal- --And we haven't even paid a 1/4 of this surgery was at the emergency vet (thousands).

Due to certain circumstances that i cannot 100% prove was their doing, one of the disks in between the ones they fixed became compromised about a year later.
