I love this place! I had an emergency eye visit for my 1 year old kitten. She received a scratch on her eye and it was a little bloody/foggy. The doctor was in before we got there and my skittish cat warmed right up to her! The doctor was very calm and seemed to help my cat relax. She took excellent care of her and the price was excellent considering it was an emergency visit. This will become my regular vet for all of my animals. Would absolutely recommend.
Dr. Jenkins and her staff were very efficient, compassionate, and thorough in the treatment of my baby, Guinness. Dr. Jenkins called me back quickly since I couldn't be at the initial appointment, answering all of the questions I had, and her staff called to check on my pup over the weekend. The surgery went fabulously, and they even clipped his nails, which was such a thoughtful act. We were allowed to visit him after surgery, even after hours. The staff was always available, which was so reassuring. I'm so thankful that Guinness is ok and recovering well, and I will absolutely return for future appointments. Thank you Savannah Animal Care.
Dr. Jenkins was very attentive to my dog’s needs & really shows that she cares. I called ahead of time & was able to get in fairly quickly (surprisingly) & on a holiday weekend too! I will definitely be back. The staff were very friendly as well.

The staff here is absolutely awesome!! My dog got something caught in throat so my husband and I took her to the nearest after hours vet (which was on Stephenson Avenue) that was open. We waited for over an hour as she was constantly hacking and coughing without being seen. We called this office while still in the waiting room at the other vets office and they told us to bring her over. My dog is a rescue that does not like strangers. The staff was so patient with her. The doctor came in, did the examination and made my dog trust her within minutes, which is unheard of. We were in and out of there in an hour and my dog is doing so much better. The love and compassion the staff has for animals is priceless. I loved this office so much that I will be taking my dog there for all her routine checkups in the future!!
Update: I brought a stray dog in with severe mange and dehydration. They treated him immediately and gave him so much love and a doft blanket. This vet has this job because she loves animals. Not for the money. I will be bringing all of my business here from this day forward.
Great vet for our dog. We recently moved to Savannah and had a pet emergency. Savannah Animal Care was available for an emergency visit on short notice and they quickly took care of the problem! We have used their boarding options several times as well!
