If you're looking for flowers, you'll have a better experience if you just burn your money and use it as fertilizer to grow fresh flowers than you would trying to order from Lester's. Seriously - I'm perplexed that this place is still in business. I had a similar experience that most other reviewers had. I give 1 star only because I did eventually get the flowers (though the order wasn't fully correct - see below), otherwise I would give 0 stars if possible based on the (lack of) customer service and services rendered. I live out of state and ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend's house for our anniversary. I placed the order around 9:30 AM and paid extra for same-day delivery. Around 5:15 PM a man called me and said he would be leaving to be delivering the flowers shortly. Personally, I consider anytime after 5:00 PM on a business day to be the end of the day, especially since he had not even left the store yet, but that's beside the point. The man was calling to ask if someone would be home at the time of delivery. I said that I thought my girlfriend's roommate would be home, but as it is the end of the day and they both work restaurant jobs, I couldn't be sure. He asked if I could call them and see. I obliged and called the roommate, but was unable to make contact. At the time of ordering, I left very specific instructions saying that if no one was home at the time of delivery, please leave the flowers with the front office of the apartment complex, which is about 100 feet from the apartment. After going back and forth with the man, he said he would call the office and make sure they would be open. I didn't hear back, so I assumed he successfully delivered the flowers.
I have been trying to contact someone from this shop for the past week. I was charged twice for one order. I keep getting their “customer service department.” The customer service department keeps telling me they can’t help me and to try calling the store in an hour. Every time I call, they tell me to call back in an hour. If the store is going to forward calls, then the calls need to be able to be handled. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service. I will never use this florist again. I got charged double for an arrangement that wasn’t even worth what it cost for one. I don’t recommend you using them either.
The flower's were eventually delivered, but I had paid an additional fee for a balloon to be delivered with the flowers when ordering online and there was no balloon delivered. I know that this is a small caveat, but I paid extra for the balloon and I paid extra for the flowers to be delivered the same day, neither of which were fulfilled. I called Lester's one last time and, again, was excessively polite with explaining to the woman that the order was not completed as paid for. The woman was once again VERY rude, condescending, and, frankly, inarticulate with her explanation that it wasn't their fault that the order was wrong, she "had no idea why I was able to order a balloon," and would refund my money for the balloon-only, but made it sound like I was a moron and inconveniencing her for my request. As of writing this review, my money has not been refunded and I would sooner attempt to steal flowers off the lawn of the White House than give my business to Lester's Florist again.

The following day I spoke with my girlfriend, who said nothing was delivered to the apartment, there was no note left on her door, and nothing was left for her at the office. I called Lester's and was abruptly handed off three times to three different women, none of which seemed to know what I was referring to, before speaking with a woman who said the delivery driver tried to take the flowers to the office, but it was not open. The woman at Lester's said the delivery driver only tries to deliver to the office if he fails to deliver the flowers to the address associated with the order and would leave a note if this was the case, but this was obviously not the case. He didn't make an attempt to deliver them to the apartment and he didn't leave any type of note. I suspect that he called the office and didn't get through, so he didn't even make an attempt to deliver the flowers to the apartment. In effect, the order was not fulfilled the same day as was paid for, and Lester's made no apologies for the mix-up. I very politely asked if the driver would be delivering the flowers today (the day after the order was placed) and the woman on the phone was extremely rude and interrupted me at every opportunity and did her best to make it sound like it was my fault that the delivery was unsuccessful the prior day.
Absolute terrible customer service. What was ordered vs what showed up was night and day. Honestly was embarrassed of the product that showed up. When I called the lady informed me that I was too cheap by spending $50 and I shouldn’t expect quality when being “cheap” while laughing in the backround with other employees. Will never use this place again or refer it to anyone.
I absolutely love Lester' florist. I came in at the last min. to find my friend a gift and they made a beautiful arrangement for me on the spot.
Ordered flowers to be delivered to local hospital. Was told they would be delivered on Saturday. As of Monday not delivered. Called florist, they were told she was discharged, even gave them room number. Friend still in that room. No follow-up from florist other than me calling them. Not happy. Hoping flowers will be delivered today..fresh???
