Wonderful stables! The owner Linda is so nice. I used to work with her 14 years ago. She loves her animals and is great with the horses. She would never be rude to someone for no reason. The kids love coming here and seeing all the animals. They do great birthday parties too!!
I have to agree with one of the reviews on here. Linda is not a people person. Others may have had a good experience with her but not us and others. I have spoken to other parents that tried her out and said they w ill never go back. What kind of person literally throws the money back at a girl telling her to take her money back and leave. She did it with my daughter who also placed a review on this site. The only time she enjoyed her lessons there was when one of the other girls was helping instead of Linda. So if you are reading this Linda you need to learn some better people skills or get another job!
I loved it here and Linda is a very kind person and she let me help out but the horses are too unpredictable for a lesson place and the crop is used too much. A older calm horse (Frodo) bucked a little girl off because they kept chasing him with the crop to get him to move. And another horse had a big bucking fit. I know this isn't normal lesson horse behavior. It's still a good place to go but you have been warned.
I have been at Norwood for 2 years and have attended some summer camps when I was younger. Mrs Linda is the nicest person I've ever met and knowing her she would never abuse her animals or try to unsatisfy her customers. I have fallen in love with one of her horses and she makes me feel like he is my own. The girl who said that Linda abused her horses and threw her money back at her is WRONG. the truth is that the girl would not get on the horse Linda chose for her so she nicely gave back her money, but that was the girls choice to never come back. Mrs Linda is a true joy and gift from God and I am just so thankful for her and everything she has done for me
I have been at Norwood for about 6 1/2 months after I lost my mother. This place is a sanctuary for me and others Linda is such an amazing person and everyone at the barn would agree her animals are in amazing shape and I couldn't even imagine her hurting anyone or anything. Thank you Linda you're amazing and so is everyone else
