This is such a classy venue for an eclectic and wonderful collection of movies and shows. Wonderful old restored theater.
They regularly show older films and seeing these classics in such a setting is a real treat.
The Lucas will be a regular destination for us from now on.
TERRIBLE!!!! On Fri. Nov.3rd, my daughter bought tickets to see Good Time with some friends. Her friends saved her a seat because she was running late. When she arrived (before the show started) and tried to get to her seat an usher GRABBED her like an animal and told her that was not her seat!!! Thankfully her friends amongst other people witnessed this and yelled at him! I can assure you if this ever happens again it will be in every news paper and on every news channel! Someone should be fired! Keep your hands to yourself! How dare you grab a young lady that way!! SHAME ON YOU!!
This lovingly restored theater is the crown jewel of historic Savannah. Left to rot for decades, the Savannah Preservation Society took it upon themselves to bring back this theater to its former glory. And bring back they did, this theater is beautiful inside and out.
Watching The Nutcracker with my daughter. She’s engaged in the performance. Nice theater. Large space and clean.
The theater is old, but the seats were surprisingly comfortable (though larger people may find them tight).
The show I went to with the School was amazing and hearing the different styles of music and comfortable seating was great. No major pressure from staff, everyone was well groomed and seemed eager to direct us to our seats. They didn't mine if we got up on our feet to dance. Very CLEAN Theater and restroom was nice and clean. The children and I had a great time.
