Quaint beer joint. Good help.
I miss the old DJ. The new DJ alters and adjusts the order of karaoke singers on busy nights. If he likes you, knows you, or if you know the owners, you'll move higher on the list. He is black and makes other black people wait longer than others. This happened 3 times to me. Shameful. I have been going for years, but no longer after last weekend.
Spent a Friday night here this weekend while visiting Savannah. The food was okay, but I was here for the karaoke. The KJ 'Chris' was kind and attentive, and the sound system one of the best I've ever heard. But far and away the best part of the entire experience was the CROWD. It was, quite frankly, the most fun and supportive of any I've seen in a karaoke bar, and I've been going to them for 30-years. The group was diverse and friendly, and it was really fun! A great night out. Kudos.

We had a great time at McDonough's. The staff was friendly, the beer was cold, and the food was AWESOME! We will definitely keep this place on our must visit list every time we pass through!
