Very loud considering the price range. Casey B was the server and he totally ignored me. I don’t know if he prefers his guests to be all white - during 2 hours of ignoring me totally I paid for the dinner. You don’t expect such audacity from the waiter when you drop $150 on dinner for two. I felt disgusted and will never recommend this place. I must also say why I was there - I was trying to find a good place for dinner to bring 20 people to dinner 5/6 times a year. I guess Local11ten will not be in my list.

Food was pretty delish, atmosphere was a little on the cheesy side. Nice they had counter seating. As a local, would want to sit outside.

This place is amazing! Gentle breeze on The Perch and tasty appetizers. What an amazing place "perched" amongst the live oak near Forsyth Park! I'm in love.

My wife and I really enjoy dining at The Local. Unfortunately, this time is was not as pleasing as usual. The waiter was nice enough and brought out some bread while we waited for our food. It was stale and cold on the outside, but we didn't think much of it since it was already late into the dinner service. When we received out food we were less than impressed by the presentation. The pork belly presentation was very one dimensional and the smoked bone marrow was buried under a sloppy pile of arugula greens. The pork belly was good, although it could have used more of a sear or crunch. The "smoked" part of the bone marrow completely overcame the entire dish. That's all I have to say about it. We ordered a small cheese plate as well. The cheese was tasty but the baguette was horribly stale, cold, and bland. We ordered two beers earlier, the plum saison. When I was about half way done, I noticed that the glass had a big crack starting from the rim and ending midway down the glass. At that point I was a little irritated at the food and now the service. We just wanted to finish up so we asked for the check thinking it could not get any worse now that we were done eating. When we got the check we noticed that they charged us $10 per glass of beer. The waiter didn't mention the abnormally high cost nor was it listed on the menu. He just recited the draft list and we choose one, thinking it would be in the $7 range. All in all this was a disappointing trip to The Local and we most definitely won't be returning. It is really unfortunate because it was one of our favorite restaurants for special occasions.

In the high end Savannah dining scene, this restaurant can compete with anyone. Service is impeccable, the ambience and decor inside is hip and relaxed all at once. The menu caters to taste from steak to seafood, and in opinion it is all done well.
