Always great for breakfast. Friendly staff, great food, decent prices. Quiet so you can enjoy eating. NEVER made to feel rushed out when done. Awesome place all around. Much better food, service, and atmosphere than cracker barrel. Perkins is always clean and smells nice. Doesn't sound like fighting and explosions coming from the kitchen.
The breakfast , (24/7), is nice. My wife had half a sandwich and a salad, and liked it. (The pepper shaker has slime on it from the previous eater. )The Baked goods look nice - they brag on those. Other wise, not bad when you are hungry. ( I used to work in a restaurant that MANDATED we clean the shakers at the end of each shift. That was the old days. )
My husband and I went for breakfast early Friday morning. Our waitress was pleasant, and our food came in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was listed as a combo. My soup arrived just slightly under heated, meaning to say it was luke warm. While trying to get my waitress' attention, I spoke to another waitress who was standing my mine. The waitress looked at me, smiled, and continued walking as if I had never spoken to her! Now I can understand if she didn't hear me, but she looked right at me. There were no other customers behind or beside me, as there were no other tables behind or beside us. I was finally able to flag my waitress down, who reheated my soup for me. All in all, not a bad experience, but I won't go back because of the disrespectful way the other waitress acknowledged me, and walked off.
Great service, considering we came in half an hour before their official closing in. Server was sweet and offered to bring in a new side of rice when we got mashed potatoes by mistake. Prices were okay, but 3 dollars for a drink is not worth it if you don't get refills (so get water.) Yes the decor is not new but it had a nice homey feel to it. Their desserts are great and the chicken strips were the best I'd ever had. Only complaint we had were the bathrooms but it's not the worst I've been in.
Good breakfast options. They accommodate gluten free with substitutions at no extra cost. Senior discount if you ask. Friendly and clean.
