The gyros are really good here. I'm not very familiar when it comes to Greek food, but I really love their gyros.
Every time we are in town to see family, we always make time for Olympia. Whether 30 minutes or 3 hours, we always enjoy the food and company. Very relaxed and cozy...everyone is always comfortable.
During hurricane Irma, when every restaurant was closed, Olympia was open taking care of every costumer in Savannah. The owners were so kind, happy and eager to help at all times. The staff was working non-stop but always with a smile and beautiful attitude. The food was excellent. We ate here for three days in a row and never got tired of going there. Definitely a place to eat when visiting Savannah. Thank you Bacilli and Betsy for always being so kind to your costumers.
Very good flavored food. Always up to par! Prices aren't obscene. :)
I haven't tried anything else on their menu because I can't quit the gyros.
There at two parts to this restaurant: the actual sit-down with service and the express. With the express side, the menu is really limited but it's perfect if you're just looking for something quick.
Great food, amazing staff, and wonderful location. They were open all weekend during Hurricane Irma when most remained closed (which is totally understandable). Our family had a great dinner late on a cold and rainy Saturday night when we rolled into town evacuating the storm from North Fort Myers, FL. My wife's family is Greek, so we don't usually get excited for Greek food that doesn't originate from her YiaYia's kitchen, but Olympia was truly fantastic. Can't like this place enough! Will make a point to visit each time we return to Savannah.
