Great place to go there's something for everyone to do there a lake for fishing, they have a jogging / walking track that encircles the entire park, looks like about a mile around there. Feed the geese and ducks that hang around a section of the lake. Picnic tables, a pavilion, restrooms, tennis courts. They have a dirt race track where people who own these little foot long remote control cars race them. And much more. It's just a great place to spend the day.
I have ran, played tennis, and fished here for the last 2 years. Quite an inviting park. Lots to do. I feel safe when running at dusk/at night. Pond seems to be overran with turtles. Caught a giant soft shell turtle but no fish yet.
Great place for the kids to run around. Nice playground for the kids as well as pavilions and restrooms. It is a great lake to walk around for exercise. Lots of ducks and birds to feed.
If you Skate or Freestyle bike this is the place to go. Wish there was a skate park here in the 90's. That would have been pretty RAD!
So excited we found this skate park!! Plus being in the middle of Lake Mayer makes it a place the whole family can enjoy. From skating, fishing and feeding the birds. We come here often!!
