Beautiful park in Savannah! It's a great spot for a walk. The trees and fountain make for lovely scenery. It's definitely worth a stroll when you're in the area. There was also a stage in the park, and coffee shops, etc around it.
Whenever I like to come to Savannah, I love to visit this part. It is in the middle of City it is wide open and you get to see people enjoying themselves. There is a tennis court at 1 in you have people playing frisbee at another you have other folks playing soccer over here and then there's just one wide area of green grass where everybody can just sit down lay down and enjoy themselves.
I’m a morning person and sun glazer. The park was secluded and very mysterious on this early cloudy morning. Very different then other times that I’ve visited the park. Just grass, trees and me. ( just teasing) I saw maybe ten other people out that early. I really enjoyed being at Forsyth Park this Sunday!
Forsyth is very beautiful. The weddings, the kids going to prom in their dresses and the bands are all amazing. The park has many features like side walk art, water fountain and much more!! My family and I attend the FREE events every weekend!
However, I never felt unsafe. And kids were playing and riding bikes around.
A few homeless hanging out and some "tweakers". One guy was having what looked to be a religious experience with a wall of the garden.
Beautiful place to walk around and plenty of little shops on the outside. Awesome fountains.
