Just drove by, didn't go inside. The place looks very beautiful.
So beautiful. Lots of benches. The fountain and the huge trees help keep it cool. Great place to rest awhile.
I visited Savannah in 2013 and this area was clean and safe. But in 2017 I walked through this square to get to river walk and it was crowded with people who weren't using the restaurants or shopping. One woman was yelling at someone and it just killed the vibe of the historical district.
Historical park square with several plaques denoting the accomplishments of officers in the civil war and post wartime politicians. Last update was done in the 1950's desperately in need of updating based on current day information.
Another cool square here in Savannah. I recommend checking out as many as you can. There is a bus tour that I believe goes through here.
