I have been a registered nurse for 25 years and was blessed the day I got hired here! I love the work I do. We have so many talented therapists who do amazing work! I work with a great team of nurses who love their job and love their patients! If you need therapy, come see us. You won't be disappointed!
I have been in the medical profession for many years, including working with long term and rehab facilities. This is one of the finest rehab centers I have ever seen. Not only the structure itself, but the staff as well, are just amazing. With my mother receiving care there, I have communicated with so many therapists, physicians and support staff members and have to compliment every one of them on their professionalism, compassion and kindness.
Some of the nursing staff were awful. The pt and ot are great. Some of the techs and nurses made my husband feel neglected. It took them 3 days to even give him a bath. He had abdominal surgery and had to get a wound vac and they refuse any medication that would help with the pain to change the dressing but will give him lidocaine to put it back on. Come on now...thats bs considering he was told he could get a shot of morphine about 5 min before they took the dressing off. Everything he was told at the hospital was pretty much a lie. He has an ileostomy and him nor i was properly trained on how to change or empty and when we got here i had to figure it out myself because we called for a nurse or a pct and no one would show up until an hour or so later. He has been here for 4 days and wnts to leave from here even though he cant walk on his own. Im highly disappointed in this place. The only reason its getting two stars is because of the pt and ot.....they are so kind and compassionate but some of the nurses....thats a different story. Most of the nurses he has had have been absolutely wonderful lately. Im going to have to raise the stars because they have redeemed themselves very Well.....
My mother was recently an inpatient at Rehabilitation Hospital of Savannah following an auto accident. Every single person from the front desk Receptionist, nursing, PT, OT, Dietary, PCT, Case Management, security gave her excellent care. Every employee we came in contact with greeted us warmly and treated us as if there was no one there more important. I would recommend this Rehab Hospital proudly.
My mom was in an auto accident with traumatic head injury. She has hearing loss associated with the head trauma. Without even looking in her ears, the doctor ordered ear drops with peroxide. This caused excruciating pain to her and she screamed for help. The nurse just left and closed the door while she begged jer not to. That is abuse! The case manager is the rudest person i have ever met and i wish we had never brought her here.
