Very disappointed with my overall experience with Best Buy. Both the in-store and over the phone customer service was sub par. I purchased a refurbished Mac Book online, only to have it arrive with a battery defect. I was assured multiple times over the phone by a customer service and Geek Squad rep that if I took my computer to the nearest store (which was over an hour drive), the battery would be serviced. Lo and behold, we show up and are told there is nothing they can do for us. Mind you, we only had the computer in our possession for a week. After a 45 minute phone call to customer service, being bounced around from rep to rep, we were told our only options were to return it or pay out of pocket to get it fixed. That's ridiculous considering we were specifically told we would be able to have it fixed by a Geek Squad member and should not have had any internal defects. The store manager even told us that he didn't recommend buying refurbished products and that we "bought at our own risk." No apologies for having to drive all the way there. Simply a "you should've known better" and refund of the money. Now, I am without a computer for school until I am able to find something else. BUYERS, BEWARE. Do not buy refurbished products from Best Buy...even a store manager said so! Safe to say we've learned our lesson.

The manager I just spoke with is my hero. Thank you so much!! Had an issue with an order coming late/unknown time. Gave me the answers I needed. Only one the last couple days.

Plenty of sales people standing around socializing with each other not bothering to help customers. The only exception was the guy working in the Apple section. I along with several others were checking the open stock on the shelves in the back of the store to try and find the products we wanted. You would think that a customer digging through boxed product at the back of the store would trigger a help response from employees. This visit reminded me why I shop online, at least there I expect to be on my own.

I had to come buy a new laptop tonight. All I knew was I wanted good battery life, a good size keyboard, & a Chromebook. Matt, the computer supervisor, was extraordinarily superb in his customer service skills, & exquisite when it came to having knowledge about the products. He was quick, attentive, & kept a smile on his face throughout the entirety of providing me with exceptional, quality service. The young lady he was training was also very kind, & sweet.

I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought my new Galaxy note 8 here. When I was looking the phone at cell phone section, no employee asked me about help. However when I asked someone can help me to buy the phone then one man helped me. He was super kind and helpful so my shopping here was satisfied.
