My issue is with the Sunday deliveries, and the poor customer service at the post office.
We have a serious issue with package theft in our neighborhood. We have a screened in porch that every other carrier on every other day places our packages in so they cannot be seen from the street. However, the Sunday delivery person never, and I'm not exaggerating, never places the packages on the screened in porch. They always leave them outside on the porch where everyone can see them.
I've been waiting for someone to resolve my issue for 2 weeks now, & I can't even get a status update. My issue? Well, my mail carrier OPENED MY FRONT DOOR, STEPPED INSIDE with one foot, and tossed my mail & packages on my floor. When I ran outside to confront him, he gave me the finger & told me he wasn't my regular carrier, so he didn't care who I told. I'm sorry, but I deserve at least an acknowledgement from someone about this.
I talked to my regular carrier and he told me to call the post office. This morning at 8:45 I stopped in and ask to talk to a supervisor about the sunday delivery issue and I was told that a supervisor would not come up front at that time because they were too busy. I was told to come back at 10:30, but instead I called. I have tried for the past 45 minutes and no one answered because it is busy. So at this time there is nothing I can do but leave a poor review because I can't talk to anyone
Never deliver because seems like they can't wait one minute for people to open the door instead they leave asap.
If you need to file for a passport do it elsewhere.
In spite of my one star review I would like to 1st say that my regular mail carrier is is exceptional.
