Best waffles I've ever even in my short 23 years of life. Just plain wow. Tried one of each waffle and was never disappointed. The Guys who work here are incredibly kind and hardworking. The only place in Savannah we went to more than once, can't wait to visit again for the waffles.
Great waffles with a great view outside of the Catholic Church. One downside (that the owners don't really have control of) is that the people we were also sitting outside kept blowing smoke at us as they were smoking and we were trying to eat our breakfast. Would have maybe been nice to have the tables more spread out? Husband said black coffee was "a little too Starbucks-esqe. A little too acidic" we would go back just for waffles if nothing else!
Paninis were good but the waffles were pre-made and reheated in a toaster. If you’ve ever had authentic fresh liege waffles before do NOT go here. You will be extremely disappointed.
We come to Savannah once a year and this is the first breakfast stop always. The House Special is a strawberry topped, Nutella covered waffle that is decadent while being filling. The coffee options are great too, I always get an iced mocha and it's one of my top tasting coffees. Stop in earlier rather than later for a shorter wait as the cafe is quite small and making these wonderful waffles can be a little time consuming.
Ended up eating here twice because we loved it so much. We tried the Southern Belle and the Peach Cobbler Leige waffles. The waffles could stand alone they were so good but adding the toppings really put them over the edge. The Southern Belle was exactly what I wanted it to be: the lemon curd was top notch and paired with the raspberries and whipped topping it was all divine. Highly recommend this cafe!
